CITY PROJECTIONS:
We are a group of student filmmakers currently in pre-production for our exciting new film; Lou. This will be our third film as a collective, and our filmmaking skill sets are continuing to grow. To broaden the horizons for our next film, we are asking for any donations to help us with the costs of production. Any money pledged would be hugely appreciated!

LOU SYNOPSIS:
Set both in the 70’s and Present day, ‘Lou’ follows the heartfelt story of one couple’s experience with Dementia and how it can affect some of our most precious memories. It centres around Lou and Lee, a couple in their 70’s as they reminisce in their day to day lives. At its core, the film centres around Memories, and how Lou’s memories change into delusion as the film progresses. What remains though, through thick and thin, is the love Lee feels for his wife of 50 years. Over the course of 5 memories, we learn the inspiring story of how the couple fell in love; but as Lou’s Dementia worsens, what memories are real and which are fiction?

WHY DO WE NEED THE FUNDING?:
The money you donate will go towards the improvement of the film's aesthetic, and allow us to push the boa out further in terms of design and creativity. With scenes set in the 60s, we require a large range of props, costumes and locations in order to make our film as realistic and interesting as possible for our viewers.

WHEN WILL THE FILM BE MADE?:
The film is currently in the early pre-production stages, we aim to start filming in the next upcoming months. We are hoping to have it released to you at the end of May 2019.
