Ashley and Sualabdul have 4 beautiful children. Sadly, two of them are very ill and, on top of it all during this terrible frigid, record breaking cold streak...their 40 year old furnace is giving out.
Jaiviyon is 7 years old and has pressure of too much cerebrospinal fluid associated with hydrocephalus can damage brain tissues and cause a range of impairments in brain function.
Jaidyn is 12 years old and has Sickle Cell.
Currently the furnace has been rigged by "an angel" to use mother Ashley's words. The heat is extremely intermittent and often both sweltering hot or completely off and their home is freezing. Extreme environments such as this can be damaging to the health of the entire family let alone Jaiviyon and Jaidyn.
The “angel" that drove around for miles searching for parts for this 4 decade old furnace and spent hours “rigging” it says that his repairs are only temporary. Soon… the heat will soon cease and this extraordinary family, battling extraordinary circumstances will soon be without heat during these extraordinary cold times.
