Deen Squad Team up with 50 Hijabi Icons to redefine the meaning of "Cover Girl" for International Woman's Day.
With the recent rise of Islamaphobia in our society. Fear has been instilled in the hearts of our Hijabi sisters around the world . We decided to take matters into our own hands by utilizing all our funding and recources for the past 7 months to create a project for empowering our Hijabi sisters. Our aim is to finally break down the negative stereotypes about the Hijab and emphasizing on supporting modesty.
This initiative triggered when we started recieving 100's of messages and emails rom sisters who have either comtemplated or had given up on wearing the Hijab because of dealing with bullying and discrimination.
Families have been broken because young Hijabi girls are facing major difficulty to be accepted socially and this results them in removing their Hijab. The meaning of Hijab is being lost and its beauty is slowly vanishing if our community does not do anything about it RIGHT NOW!
Modesty is POWER! Please, Let us restore the confidence and empower our sisters who are a major representation of the religion of Islam.
