One Year In Rescue

We are a 501c3 non-profit dog and cat rescue based out of the Tyler/Jacksonville areas of Texas. We are celebrating our first year in operation on May 18th. We have rescued around 200 dogs and cats from the streets of Cherokee county and from the shelters of East Texas in this past year, and we have also assisted other rescues in saving dozens from the area. We currently have around 70 animals in our program and are in the process of building our very own facility so that we can house and save even more! We have put a down payment on a building and it has been delivered. We have placed deposits on our water, electricity and Internet set ups but there may be additional fees for connection. And we have already purchased drywall and insulation and will begin installing it this week! So we have made some great progress so far! But with everything going on and with how many animals we have in the program, our general funds are constantly being depleted. So for our birthday, we are asking for any and all help we can get. We are always in need of monetary donations for our general funds, but we also could use cat food, dog food, cat litter, dog houses, cat carriers, dog crates, chain link and fencing hardware, pea gravel, baby pools, water buckets, or any kind of gift cards to Walmart, lowes, tractor supply, Petco, or Amazon. We are trying to arrange drop off areas in Tyler and Jacksonville for item donations but for now you can call [phone redacted] to set up a time and place to drop off items. Any amount of donations is greatly appreciated, we have several animals trying to get to rescues up north which is expensive, and we have several litters of puppies and kittens who need shots, on top of a few new intakes who need to be fully vetted, and any money donated will go to our general fund to cover things like this and/or building materials.
