Cougars Women's Team to play Canada

Donation protected
The Corrimal Cougars Women's team will feature on the the global Rugby League stage when they make the trip to Vancouver this October to play the Canadian Women's National Team. They will assist the Ravens with crutial game experience as Canada prepare to head into the Rugby League World Cup at the end of the year.

The girls are an Illawarra based rugby league side, playing full contact in the Inspirations Paint Women's Competition under Corrimal Cougars RLFC.

Players of the Cougars Women's side have to individually self-fund their travel abroad to play the game they are so passionate about. The players have had to make arrangements to travel with work, uni, school & families as well as seek the funds needed with only 10 weeks notice.

Funds are desperately needed to help reduce team expenses associated with travelling overseas. Funds raised will help the team pay for costs such as bus hire to and from training & playing fields while overseas, airport transfers, lower insurance and help with all extra overheads that arise while travelling as a large group.
