Cottage Grove MN RC Track

Hello everyone,

My name is Chad Smith and I am starting a community remote control car and truck off road track.  This is in the city of Cottage Grove, MN.  The land for the track was generously donated to us by the city at Hamlet park in Cottage Grove, but the rest is up to us as volunteers.  We are in need of certain things to complete the track and any funds you could donate would be greatly appreciated.   This track is going to be a wonderful activity for our community and we welcome anyone and any age.  It does not matter if you live in Cottage Grove, MN or in Tim Buk Tu, you are welcome at our track to enjoy the wonderful hobby or remote control cars and trucks.

Here is a list of the things that we need to purchase to complete and maintain the track.   This is a great community and a great activity for people ages 3 to 100 years of age.

Please help us make this track a great success and we will see you soon.



1- More dirt to build the track
2-Clay for the track to help with lower maintence
3-Source of water, or holding tanks for water to use on the track.
4-Lumber for a drivers stand.
5-Electricity or generators for the track to charge batteries for the electric vehicles.
6-Fund raider activities to raise money for the track.
7-Corrugated tubing, and spikes for the track borders.
8-Equipment(Bobcat, shovels, rollers, wheel barrows, etc)
9-Construction lock box to hold tools and other things at the track so we don't have to haul back and forth basic tools.

When the track is complete I will have a couple cars for anyone to drive at the track free of charge at certain times so they can try this wonderful hobby.
