Cosmo's Cataracts Surgery
Donation protected
I suffer from a terminal disease , ALS, and rely on others for help with everything most people take for granted. I also have a seven year old Pomeranian that now requires the same love and care.
Recently, Cosmo the Pomeranian was diagnosed with diabetes, which has caused cataracts in both of his eyes, resulting in him being completely blind. He gets two shots of insulin a day and four eye drops to keep the diabetes, infections, and eye pain at bay. The procedure for the cataracts is treatable because it was caught early on but, given my limited resources of $1,500 a month via SS from my terminal illness, I am unable to afford to help both him and I. This makes me very sad beyond words and I want him to live a long, happy life.
This is something very treatable, unlike my own disease, and I want to do everything in my power to help the dog I love more than anything.
