Never Leave A Soldier Behind
Cory Hixson, a graduate a Moffat County High School, a husband, a father, and a war veteran isn't asking for your help. I am.
Cory was wounded in Iraq in 2004, but has since made a life for himself with his beautiful wife Shala and their two kids. I get to enjoy the safety & freedom he helped provide for all Americans, but I believe he still doesn't receive the top-of-the-line care he deserves. Now, I can't pay for the best care available - but I can contribute toward it. And so can you!
Shala wrote something beautifully last Memorial Day about her family: "Over last year our family has truly seen the true effects war has on those who serve as they face their biggest battle…. Coming Home. The weight of war is heavy. Most will never know their training or the journey on which they’ve been. Broken by battle, wounded by war they remain lost at home. Despite the darkness war creates….. we have hope! We love our Cory."
Let's appreciate our veteran and show him a little love in the shade of green :)
