Cory "Gunner" Family Crisis Fund

A brother is in critical need due to an incident/accident which happened a few days ago.  This go fund me account was created to support the family during hardships which have still yet to come. For those of you that do not know Cory, he is a solid dude and one of the best to work with.  With respect to some involved, please understand that some details cannot be shared.  Additionally, updates will strictly come from the family regarding Cory’s status.  The family was not involved with setting up this account; it was a collaboration of individuals who have worked with Cory in the past and feel the need to help his family in a time of need.  His wife will be the sole beneficiary for funds collected from this fundraiser.   
 

From the Family:
Cory Miele has served and protected his country his entire adult life as an infantryman and warrior. This patriotic man truly lives the phrase "freedom isn't free." His service has required him to miss important family events, holidays, and major milestones. He has experienced much heartache and pain when his brothers have made the ultimate sacrifice. Cory is a strong man who puts his God, his country, his wife and family, and his brothers first in his life; often giving and sacrificing himself on a personal level. Cory married Leanna in October 2017. Leanna fully supports Cory, sacrificing his companionship when he is overseas for most of the year. Before he married, his parents and three brothers sacrificed while Cory was away. Our service men and women sacrifice daily, but families of those in service make tremendous sacrifices as well. They must trust that God will keep their loved ones safe. This week Cory was involved in a serious accident overseas and is currently in a coma, on life support, and dialysis. He is receiving excellent medical care, but is unable to travel and his family is unable to be with him. We know hundreds of prayers are being sent up on his behalf and he has shown some improvements. Cory's personality endears him to people everywhere. He is physically strong and a great protector to those he loves. He is warm, kind, generous, and humorous to his friends and family. He can tell wonderful stories that has his listeners on edge. He has been in numerous near-death experiences and retells them with great humor, including running for his life from a bear. When he was recovering from a gunshot wound he said, "Something just came up and bit me." Above all, Cory is loyal and faithful.
