Headstone for Corliss Palmer

Donation protected
Corliss Palmer was an actress, model, and cosmetics spokesperson best known for her scandalous relationship with MOTION PICTURE publisher Eugene Brewster. After winning the 1920 Fame and Fortune Contest in his fan magazine, Brewster attempted to groom her for stardom; instead, she spent more time in the gossip columns than on the screen, and died in obscurity at a mental hospital when she was only 53 years old. Her remains rest in an unmarked grave next to her brother. Corliss wasn't perfect, but neither was her life. The same behavior that made her famous also left her lonely and blacklisted in Hollywood. The one thing she desired most of all was kindness. She deserves one last kindness in the form of a proper headstone.
