I was recently diagnosed with metastatic bone angiosarcoma which is a very extremely rare malignant cancer. Everything started on October 2016 when I had left upper abdominal pain and found out that my spleen was enlarged and has tumor on it which during that time was benign according to the Cat scan and MRI reports.I had splenectomy done on December 13, 2016.
According to the pathologists whom studied my spleen specimen it was benign tumor, but they also mentioned that angiosarcoma cannot be the excluded and I need to be monitored in one year. I had a Cat scan done on February 3 ,2017 and showed that I have bone lesions and my oncologist ordered Pet scan which also showed bone lesions and biopsy which give a definitive diagnosis of metastatic bone Angiosarcoma . I am currently at the hospital and fractured my C2 ( cervical spine) on March 8,2017 which is complication of my bone lesions making my bones weaker . I have undergone  C1 to C4 cervical fusion and still need to recover from surgery and also need to deal with my cancer treatment.  I was given one year to live by my Oncologist.  I'm still waiting for the Oncologists to decide what is the best treatment for me and the best option.

I was born in the Philippines, and when I was 16 years old, my father passed away. During that time I was in my college year, studying Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I wasn't able to finish college since my mother decided that we have to move to the United States. I was 19 years old and was in my senior year of college at that time. I had to make a choice whether to go back to the Philippines to finish school or stay in the United States to help my mother raise my younger siblings.  I've chosen to stay with my mother to help her and my three younger sisters and one brother to start a new life from scratch in the United States. I tried to fulfill my father's dream for them to be able to go to college and not become like me, whom was not able to finish college.

It was 2015 when I got my US Citizenship.

I am asking help for my younger siblings and my mother that I'm going to leave behind when I pass away. All I wanted is for all my siblings to be able to finish college and have a normal life which I never had. And also to help my mother with all the expenses.  Since I left my job because I'm not able to work, my mother and only one of my sisters are bringing income in the family which is not enough for all the expenses. All your help will be greatly appreciated, and I will be at peace knowing they will still be able to continue their education & fullfill our dreams  without me.

When I was in the ICU before my spine surgery.
