I've been given the incredible opportunity to train and work at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. The theatre is one of the oldest, most highly regarded Shakespeare companies in the country. Consequently, the apprenticeship I have is one of the most sought after for young actors at the beginning of their career. Needless to say, I'm extremely grateful!
Yes, I'm beginning my career. For me, that means moving to New York, getting a few survival jobs, and attending auditions as often as I can.
It's a bit awkward asking for money, but I'll need it to pay for travel, housing, tuition, food, and a little to get me started in New York. I really can't tell you all how much your help would mean to me. Any help at all.
