Renovation of a boarding school

During our last visit to Kaolack, we found that the boarding school AAII, which houses many orphans students, was significantly degraded since its inception almost 20 ago years.

Especially the computer room and dormitories are now in urgent need of renovation. Following this finding, the administrative council of the Humanitarian Solidarity Movement Alfityanu Luxembourghas decided to support the renovation of the computer room and dormitories.

We therefore took the decision to devote a part of our 2016 budget to buy 10 computers and tables in order to give students the opportunity to take full advantage of this room.

Regarding the dormitories, our budget does not currently allow us to be able to cover them completely, so we decided to launch a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe in order to repaint the computer room, the dormitory and others areas of the school, a job that requires a budget of € 650.

In addition, we hope to also buy 20 mattresses for a cost of € 428, and fans for an amount of € 275.

This represents a budget of 1,400 € (bank fees included) to offer some comfort and dignity to this school, and especially its students.
