Computer Labs for 3 schools at Jajarkot Nepal

As we all know, Education is the first requirement for the development of human civilization. All the achievements and all changes in the world are a result of education. Education plays a vital role in building consciousness in human society and Schools are the most important source of education in the modern education system. Skilled Manpower and necessary Physical Infrastructure are the essential factors for operating schools. Because of the lack of the resources and skilled manpower, many community schools in Nepal have not been able to impart quality education.
Shree Shiva Shankar, Shree Bhagawati and Shree Dipendra, the three Secondary Schools, in Bheri Municipality, Jajarkot District, in the western part of Nepal are also similar community schools, which have not been able to achieve the targeted goal of quality education due to the lack of sufficient physical infrastructure. They do not have a computer lab and the students, in this era of technological advancement, do not have practical classes of Computer. Due to this, the students have not been able to get proper Computer education as per the purpose of the course. Teaching computer subject in this school is only giving theoretical knowledge. For the long term solution of this problem, School families have requested us to setup computer labs in each school. With a computer lab in the school, the student from such rural area will be able enhance their practical knowledge of computer and can compete with other students already having such resources.
By considering these facts, I have started a campaign to build three computer labs for these three schools. As in the previous years, I am also participating in the New York Marathon which is going to be held on November 3rd in New York. I believe my effort will help to stimulate this campaign and will also make me active throughout this campaign. The estimated cost for this project is Nepalese Rupees Sixteen Hundred Thousands (US $ 15,000 approx.). Each computer lab includes twenty computers, one printer, and a projector. The school will manage required furniture and room for the computer lab.
As Terry Hogan has rightly said, Little drops of water, Little grains of sand, Make the mighty ocean. Little efforts from everyone can bring a big change, your small help is very crucial for the success of this campaign. I would like to request all of you to support as much as you can.

I ran Indianapolis Marathon in 2016, and helped to buy an Ambulance in Tehrathum District.
I ran Chicago Marathon in 2017, and collected fund was used to build Girls Friendly Toilets in a public school in Nawalparasi.
In 2018, ran Marine Corps Marathon in Washington D.C. and collected fund was used to build Computer Labs in two public school in Tehrathum.

खास गरी यी बिद्यालयहरुमा अध्यनरत बिद्यार्थीहरुको लागी उपयुक्त कम्प्युटर ल्याब नभई प्रयोगात्मक कक्षा गराउन नपाउदा बिध्यार्थीहरुले पाठ्यक्रमको उदेश्य अनुरुपको उचित ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्न सकेका छैनन्| जसले गर्दा कम्प्युटर बिषय बिद्यालयमा पढाउनु कम्प्युटरको बारे सैध्यान्तिक ज्ञान दिलाउनु जस्तो मात्र भएको छ| यो समस्याको दिर्घकालिन रुपमा सामाधान गर्नकोलागि एउटा एउटा कम्प्युटर ल्याबहरुको ब्यबस्थापन गर्न जरुरी भएको कुरा बिद्यालय परिवारले अनुरोध गरेको छ | उक्त बिद्यालयहरुमा कम्प्युटर ल्याब बनाउन सकेमा बिद्यार्थीको कम्प्युटर सम्बन्धि ब्यबहारिक ज्ञान बृध्दि भई, उनीहरु प्रतिस्पर्धामा आगाडी आउन सक्नेछन | यही कुराको मध्यनजर गर्दै मैले यी बिद्यालयहरुको लागि कम्प्युटर ल्याब बनाउने अभियान सुरु गरेको छु | बिगतमा जस्तै यो पटक पनि यो अभियानको प्रचारप्रसार र अभियानमा दत्तचित्त हुनको लागी म अमेरिकाको न्यु योर्क मा नोभेम्बर ३ मा हुन गैराखेको New York Marathon मा भाग लिन गैराखेको छु|
