Completing Woodrock Studios

I started building a 672 square foot addition to my studio last fall. The plan is to set up all the machinery and equipment I have had stored since I’ve been here.
When I purchased this land here in Gardiner/Pine Bush 18 years ago and named it Woodrock, it was my intention to create an artist community similar to Artplace, the community I founded and directed for almost 15 years in NYC. I find when artist work together in a space there is a magical comradely created that stimulates the creative process.
When this addition is complete I would have a ceramic studio, wood shop, jewelry and metal shop.
I am over half way there! The land was leveled, gravel purchased, delivered and bulldozed in place, footings dug and building poles cemented and installed, foam insulation sprayed under the 5’’ slab that was poured trawled and finished, walls up, roof rafters hung, 9 windows and 2 French doors installed, metal roof almost completed and the new electrical panel installed and wiring run for all the lighting indoor and out, the small gallery entrance track, the zillion outlets and switches, kiln room and machinery in place. Phew!
Now I need some help to complete the project:
1. The roof needs to be completed, building closed in and painted inside and out. (cost $2500)
2. A little more electric need to be run then the new electrical panel wiring needs to be trenched underground and connected to the main electrical source feeding Woodrock from Central Hudson approximately 75 feet away. Then it all has to pass inspection!

3. The building is insulated with hard spray foam, 4” on the walls and 5” on the ceiling. That way the heating bill will be very low. (cost $3800
4. Sheet rock is installed on walls and ceiling. (Cost $2500
5. Electric LED ceiling lighting installed and electric outlets completed. Kiln room electric completed. (cost $800)
6. Studio sink and hot water heater installed and counters built. (cost $800)
7. Propane heaters installed. (cost $1000)
Total Cost Needed to Complete… $13,200.
