Community Volunteer Trip to Fiji

Think Pacific is a charity that helps to improve Education, Sports and Aid Relief to those living in Fiji.
Fiji is still an underprivileged country, with many of its families living in poverty. However, Think Pacific have coached over 40,000 children across Fiji and introduced PE lessons to over 100 schools, using sport as a tool to promote health and aspiration for children living in hardship. They have also established 72 Kindergarten programmes in run areas and have helped to provide early years education for over 1,000 children. Think Pacific also support communities in desperate need, and were one of the fastest charities to respond to the damage caused by Cyclone Winston in Feb 2016.
In June, myself and a team from Nottingham Trent University will be emabarking on a expedition to Fiji to volunteer for Think Pacific. Whilst living with Fijian families, we will be providing teaching support inside the classroom and creating and delievering PE lessons and extra-curriculum activities for Fijian children.
As a team we are hoping to fundraise for the charity 'Think Pacific' and would greatly appreciate our support - I have a personal target to raise £500!
