Hi everyone, I am Heidi Lott. I am a daughter, a sister, a mother, a school counselor, book lady, but most importantly I am a child of God and I want to serve Him as best I can. My friends, Matthew and Laura Smith are missionaries in Haiti and they have founded The Community Advancement Ministry Project (C.A.M.P.). C.A.M.P. is purposely geared towards the betterment and inspiration of Haitian youth, so that they may recognize their value and the possibilities of their potential. This is accomplished through various holistic programming including literacy and English comprehension.
Want to join me in making a difference? As an Usborne Books and More (UBAM) consultant, I am able to partner with Matthew and Laura Smith
by stocking the shelves of their community center with books for all ages! Books open up the possibility to learn and grow and I want nothing more than to help their community do just that, one book at a time.
Please consider helping me raise funds to provide The C.A.M.P. Haiti, Inc., with Usborne Books and More (UBAM)!!! UBAM will match the funds we raise by 50%!!! Therefore, when we raise $1000 in donations, they will provide an additional $500 to build the library in the community center that Matt and Laura have founded!
Haiti’s educational system includes little to no public schooling, so 50% of the population under the age of 15 receives little to no life advancement opportunities. Matt and Laura's vision for C.A.M.P. is to keep the Community Center doors open to those Haitian children that cannot afford an education.
The C.A.M.P. is designed to ignite community inspiration in Haiti by echoing God's love through recreational, educational, and spiritual application.

When I think of the both of them, I am reminded of the two bible verses below. They truly have a heart after Jesus and His calling for them.

go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
Proverbs 31:20
"She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy."
