Commercial Aquaponics Phase-Two

The goal of Dachnik Domes & Aquaponics is to provide the most advanced, easiest to manage and most profitable Commercial & Residential Turn-Key style Aquaponic systems in the world.




Who Are We?

We are the founders of a new company called Dachnik Domes & Aquaponics. Established by Ken Burrows of Salt Lake City, Utah. Over the last 10 years, Ken has been researching and perfecting our Aquaponic Systems.

"Dachnik" in Russian means second home, usually with a garden attached which is what inpsired our company name.

We have been researching and engineering a new commercial aquaponics design that increases production yeild by 10x compared to systems in production today.

People will be able to grow food year-round using no fertilizer or pesticides. Also, aquaponics uses at least 90% less water than conventional gardening, since the water is recirculated in the system.

This will finally allow for a profitable commercial aquaponics farm which has been the true challenge for aquaponics becoming a mainstream farming method.

The goal is to sell these systems to those who want to become commercial aquaponic farmers and be successful in doing so, anywhere in the world. 

Our journey goes back 10 years with us building a small aquaponic geodesic dome in our Grandpa's backyard.(seen below)


Since then, we've built many small systems working our way up to the system we have now shown in the pictures/videos above.

Each system provided the experience needed in order to build a better, more efficient and affordable design.

That system is performing wonderfully, however, there are still many improvements that need to be made in order to get the absolute best product into the hands of the people who want to run a successful aquaponics business in a true "turn-key" style product.

What We're Raising the Money For

In order to get to that next and final stage, we need to implement several design improvements and get molds for the new tower design we've engineered, as well as patents. 

Improvments include:

1. More automation tools/software for ease of operation
2. New tower design and molds
3. Measures to reduce the costs of each system

and much more...

The funds will be used to build our final design, which will act as a showroom for potential customers and even courses to anyone else looking to learn more about aquaponics!

How will the money will be used?

Every penny raised through this platform will go towards funding this project and getting our business officially off the ground.

Expendatures include:

1. Building a greenhouse fit for a 6 tank design
2. Paying engineer for design work
3. Parts for the system (all shown in videos above)
4. Fish
5. Molds for new, more efficient tower design
6. Patents
7. Office Space
8. Solar Panels for the grow lights, pumps, etc..
9. Anything else needed to get the system fully operational
10. Final design and engineering work for our residential geodesic dome systems

How soon you need the funds?

We're aiming to have the new system complete and ready for an "open-house" by end of Spring 2017. We already have the location picked and are excited to get to work!

We're also aiming to have our residential systems designed, completed and in production by end of 2017 or early 2018.

Why this means so much to us?

Our end goal with this company is to provide the most effienct farming systems in order to fight poor growing conditions and food shortage around the world.

Aquaponics going mainstream has profound benefits to all who inhabit this Earth. Aquaponics has the potential to provide food/jobs anywhere in the world. Aquaponics can grow in any climate, all year long.

Food security is going to become one of the most important challenges humans will face in the coming decades. Aquaponics is a solution to that challenge.

Ultimately, we will establish a non-profit organization that will build these systems in the poorest countries on Earth that need them the most. Train them how to run the systems, and feed their communities!
