Coming together for Jodie and Peter Fennessy

Dear friends and family  , as most of you know , Jodie has been bravely fighting brain cancer for a long few years now.  She has endured brain surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and loads of medical care. Mass General Hospital and her team of doctors have been doing their best to keep her with us and to also help maintain her quality of life while she's here. My Dad has been the most dependable and patient caregiver. He has driven countless times to Boston and missed many hours of work. These few years have been hell on them. We all see their strength and love and it is so great.  But even the strongest people need help. Jodie was transported to Mass General on Thursday December 27th where she has remained hospitalized. Her heart is in failure and her body keeps filling up with fluids. Jodie has been through lots of testing and is being kept as comfortable as possible and she is doing her best to remain hopeful. Her doctors are working hard to determine the cause and to come up with a plan.  At this time we have no idea when she will be able to come home. Peter has been there every day and will need to miss much more time from work. I know everyone has been asking how they can help. With only one income, the best way to help would be to make a donation of any kind to help with the financial stress my Dad is under and can hopefully stay above.
