Help Christopher Robertson and his family in this time of extreme life changes.
Chris was loving life with his wife (Crystal) of 8 years and their two young boys Braeden and Asher. Last winter of 2018, Chris went into the hospital for extreme pain. After forgoing tests doctors found that Chris had colon cancer stage three. So desperately hopeful that surgery would prove to be successful, their worst fears were confirmed when cancer was found in Chris’ liver as well. The doctors came back with an even worse diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer which spread to the liver.
New plans are in the works and right now aggressive Chemotherapy treatments are taking place in all efforts to shrink the cancer tumors on Chris’ liver. Once the tumors are smaller the doctors are going back in to operate again and kill this infestation in Chris’ body called cancer. Please, please, send all the positive thoughts, vibes, messages, and prayers you can. Even fleeting thoughts are prayers too.
With Chris constantly fatigued, in pain, forced to see doctors and having chemo regularly he is missing days at work. Crystal is doing the best she can to hold up this family, work and pay the bills she can. Chris and his wife have depleted their savings and are now forced to use credit cards. Mortgage, car payments, utility bills, huge weekly day care bills, regular day to day bills are a struggle for most but when you add the medical bills, the monthly medicines not completely covered by insurance, and so much more it is not just overwhelming but depressing and stressful. Every week these bills continue to mount up. It is estimated that these bills will be at extreme amounts that no normal pay check to paycheck family can handle.
Life throws us challenges that we cannot face alone. Let’s come together and help lift some of this financial burden from Chris, he has so many challenges ahead of him right now and needs ALL our help. Anything you can spare would help no matter what the amount is, it all adds up.
