Come Together for Mark Miller

My father Mark Miller went into the hospital upon having a seizure on August 15th 2018. There was no sign before that seizure that there was anything wrong with him. This happened suddenly and without warning. When arriving to the hospital they did numerous tests and discovered two tumors on the right side of his brain. He went into emergency brain surgery to have those tumors removed the very next day. His surgeon got almost every bit of the tumors out successfully which was wonderful to hear. He lost motor function on the left side of his body because of the pressure on his brain. He has now gained all motor function back and feels great. Honestly if you didn’t know he just had brain surgery or that he has cancer you wouldn’t think anything was different with him, he says he feels great. Now it’s time for him to start radiation and chemo next week to get every microscopic bit of those tumors left over. His cancer is called Glioblastoma, this is a terminal cancer. He will have reccuring tumors and will live with this the rest of his life. We don’t know how much time we get with him wether it’s a year or 10 years,  this cancer is unpredictable but we are going to fight to keep him alive for as long as we can. The great thing is he feels awesome, and that makes me so happy. He’s not in any pain, he’s as stubborn as ever and it makes me feel wonderful that he doesn’t feel any different then he did before he knew about the tumors. We don’t know how he is going to react to the chemo and radiation but we hope and pray he doesn’t have any horrible side effects cause we want him to continue feeling great. He is however anxious to get this first set of treatments started and over with. This money will go towards paying off his hospital, radiation, oncology, and neurosurgeon bills. Thankfully his chemo is taken care of this time around but if we didn’t manage to get it, the cost would be about $1600, which we do not have so we are very thankful to the manufacturer and the man who helped us contact them and get my father his meds. Next time we may not be so lucky so i will raise more money if need be. Anything helps!! Even if it’s $1 or $5, literally anything you can spare helps. If you cannot donate then I urge you to share this with everyone you know, anything helps even getting the word out. Please share this with everyone you know.

Thank you so much,
