Columbia Small Animal Rescue

Hi! I'm Emily, and on my own I run a non-licensed small animal rescue.  Rabbits and guinea pigs are the third and fourth most abandoned animals in the US, right behind cats and dogs-- but there aren't nearly as many rescues or shelters for them.
I spend my own money to drive from Columbia to wherever an animal in need is located (the farthest places so far being Belleville, Illinois and Bolivar, Missouri).  This doesn't even include the time and gas I spend to first go check out the foster and adopter homes to deem them fit for a bunny in need! 
I charge nothing for the animals I adopt out; I just ask that I inspect the animals' potential living space and for a detailed interview with the family.
Most animals I find in need are in places like Kansas City or St. Louis, which I just can't afford on my own to keep driving to.  Finding time to do so is hard enough; I'm a full-time student and work two jobs to pay all of my own bills.
All funds will be used either as gas money for trips specifically to go get abandoned animals or for vet bills.
