Colour Obstacle Rush, in aid of Marie Curie

This year it marks 6 years since I lost my loving Nan, as well as it being her 60th birthday in March. Whilst she was terminally ill, we had help from the Marie Curie Rapid Response team who were fab both for the care of my Nan and in supporting my family and will always be a big part out our lives. They supported us in one our worst times and we will forever be grateful for that. As a student nurse I understand how difficult bereavement can be, but these girls have shaped the type of nurse that I want to be for my patients and without them our grief would have been a lot lonelier if it wasn’t for their love and support.

As it would have been her 60th birthday this year, i’d like to give her an amazing gift and a huge cuddle but as I can’t do that I want to make her proud as she’s looking down on me.
I’d like to do some fundraising for the team to help them in supporting and caring for other families so that they can continue the amazing work they do.

If anyone knows me they’ll know I absolutely hate any type of exercise so I’ve set myself up to do the colour obstacle rush in Newcastle on 15th June 2019. I feel like this will be a challenge for myself, and I know that she’ll be looking down laughing at me the entire time anyway!!

Any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much! Xxx
