Colorado Food Works was born from passion; passion for our industry and passion for Colorado. Our mission statement is simple: To support the growth of the Colorado food industry through access, advocacy, resources and community.
We’re embarking on an exciting time for the Natural Food industry! With consumer demand for “better for you” options at an all-time high and barriers of entry reasonably low, it’s the perfect atmosphere for eager entrepreneurs. Colorado’s progressive food community lends itself as the perfect location to embrace this growing economy. Colorado Food works sets out to help entrepreneurs achieve success through collaboration.
Simultaneously, Denver’s Office of Economic Development has also realized the potential of the industry, and subsequently has set out to create the “Denver Food Plan”. It’s a comprehensive plan to establish Denver as the epicenter for the food industry in our country. Colorado Food Works is a strategic partner in this ambitious, yet attainable goal.
As of now, Colorado Food Works is a bootstrapped community of passionate individuals giving their own time, passion and money to get CFW off the ground. Colorado Food Works operates with no membership fees for now as we build up our member base.
We're starting a Go Fund Me page so we can raise money to be able to provide more frequent events with better content to help the Colorado food industry continue to grow.
