Shaleigh to CCAD College PreView

          
         Hi! This is Shaleigh, and I am a sophomore at Amanda Clearcreek High School.  I have been seriously studying art for about 3 years. As well as having my peices shown in competitions such as the Governor's and Congressional art show, I have had my work displayed in the Short North art walk. One day I want to be an animator, and I take a lot of inspiration from cartoons like Gravity Falls and Steven Universe.
            Recently, I have found out about an amazing educational opportunity for me to attend a college preview and earn both credits and experience, to help give myself a boost into the world of art. Unfortunately, things like this cost money, money that I do not have. I have applied for a scholarship, but it is not guaranteed and even the maximum amount does not fully cover the cost. My dad and I created this gofundme to pay for the rest . I am going to make art to give to people who have donated at certain levels, and send it to them - to you, that is, if you decide to donate. Hard copies of original art that I poured my soul into. Here are some examples of my work:


Shaleigh is raising money to attend CCAD's College PreView .  This is an Art School immersion program at the Columbus College of Art and Design.  For one month the students live on campus and participate in classes each day, They will have studio time for homework or to explore the skills and techniques demonstrated in class. Evening and weekend plans may include CCAD faculty lectures, off campus outings and film screenings. All students participate in social events and studio time to share their experiences with each other and make connections between the programs.
