Dear Potential Supporter,

WELCOME!   Please help promote my goFundme campaing and/or provide a monetary contribution to help pay for my expenses, at Syracuse University in New York, where I will be studying, for the next four years, to attain a Bachelor’s Degree, to become a world class Broadcast Journalist.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

a)  Spread the word:  LIKE and SHARE my campaign on Facebook with your family and friends, also TWEET about it.

b)  Monetary Contribution:  Make a monetary contribution on my goFundme campaign (no amount is too small, $1.00, $2.00, etc.).  Your monetary contribution will help to cover school expenses (i.e. books, supplies, transportation, housing and other education costs) that I will be incurring during the next four years:

Year 1:   $19,346.30 (Deadline:  Now)

Year 2:   $19,761.60 (Deadline:  Fall 2018)

Year 3:   $20,187.31 (Deadline:  Fall 2019)

Year 4:   $20,704.79 (Deadline:  Fall 2020)

When I attain the Bachelor’s Degree I want to work in a major television network, to deliver timely, accurate and quality news about topics that are important to you.

By taking on challenges and striving for success, such as earning a Bachelor’s Degree, I hope to ultimately inspire the new generation of future leaders to pursue their educational goals and career, because it is amazing what people can do once they put their mind to it, and they also get help from supportive people like you.

MY STORY:

Despite being a previous victim of school bullying, fortunately with my parents support, I was able to overcome this dark period of my life and I accomplished the following achievements, which are clear examples of my dedication and commitment for success in my education. For example, I attended a rigorous Dual Enrollment High School Program (included Honors and Advanced Placement classes; and College level classes), which resulted in simultaneously earning, in June 2017 a:
                                 High School Diploma:

                                                  And

                                                    an:

                                     Associate’s Degree:

My extracurricular activities included being the President of my school’s Community Service Club (Interact), and I was actively involved in my community, with over 850 hours put into volunteer service work,  in activities such as: Fundraising, providing donation of school supplies, preparing and delivering food to a local orphanage, and helping during several Summer Camp school programs as a Counselor.

I was also active in my school’s Student Government Council, where I served as Secretary. I participated in Youth Leadership Programs, I am a member of many school clubs and associations (i.e. Women of Tomorrow; Kiwanis “Key Club”; K.I.D.S.; Society of Women Engineers (SWE); and Girl Scouts).

I have received the following Honors and Awards: Honor Roll; Honor Society-Phi Theta Kappa Omicron Tau Chapter; POSSE Foundation Scholar; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Dode County Alumnae Chapter Scholar; Semifinalist of Ayn Rand Institute's essay contest; National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists Award of Excellence Nominee; Modeling- (Winner-Florida Jr. Teen “Casual Wear Modeling”, “Most Promising Model”, and “Photogenic”); State Finalist as “Miss Jr. Teen Miami, Florida”. Represented South Florida, as “Miss Jr. Teen Miami”, at a national level beauty pageant, held in California; Physical Fitness Olympics Achievement Award and Best All Around Athlete.

I have worked at a local military base, in the Family Support Services Office, where I created a slideshow presentation, used to post the monthly announcements and activities aired on the television in the Military Readiness Office; created a brochure for a new program called, "Key Spouse Program"; created an online database and file system consisting of information listing spouses that signed up for the Spouse Program; assembled binders with information used by judges when selecting new officers. I answered telephone calls, greeted customers, made copies, and sent documents via fax.

My interests and hobbies includes: Sharpening my computer skills (including using video editing software), improving my communication skills (verbal and written) by reading books, learning about and practicing different languages (i.e. Spanish and French); learning about Film/Photography by writing/editing short stories, comics, music videos, taking photographs (I’ve completed two photography classes); Dance/Choreography (Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop); Voice (Was a member of a local Voice Team, participated in Yearly Recitals, Holiday Shows in Walt Disney World and onboard two cruise lines); Acting/Fashion/Modeling (served as a “News Anchor” at my Middle School; as an “Entertainment Anchor” for a Gala Event; and participated in a local and a national beauty pageant).  I also enjoy visiting and exploring National Parks.

THANK YOU SO MUCH:

I am sincerely priviledged of your consideration, in the form of LIKES and SHARING on Facebook, and sharing my goFundme campaign with your family and friends via TWEETS, and/or by making a monetary contribution, towards my educational goal.
