College tuition has buried me in debt

Greetings everyone,
My name is Amir Olmos. Now is the time to keep standing out for myself and leading by the example of finishing my education strong. For the past 3 years, I have been studying as an international business undergrad in Houston, TX, United States. I came all the way from Dominican Republic pursuing a dream to attend business school trying to develop personal strategies to apply them in the business world.
Having the hope within myself that a miracle of earning an American higher Education on your own is reachable, I came to fight the dream of many with a US student visa. Lately, this process has been my reality and it has made me challenge myself to reach my goals without external financial support. Unfortunately, I have face the strongest hardship of my life. As a junior in a 4-year university and my family back home, my family experienced big changes. My dad had a big job loss and therefore, it led my family to face large financial complications losing stability, which originated a divorce between my parents.
At this point, this financial chaos buried me in debt. I am unable to register for my next academic year because I do not count with the funds to afford out of state tuition. This have impacted me so hard that my doors had been closing, but if I cannot knock the door of my education, I will build a door for it. Even though situations like this makes me feel impotent of reaching my goals, I remain my hope and my head up and keep becoming the 23 years old independent man with the vision that I plan to have for my family in the future.
I have been rewarded with numerous awards from academic groups highlighting my skills in certain areas and fields that I have developed while in college living in the US. I joined extracurricular programs as a student ambassador and a college basketball team that led me to an English scholarship recipient and a most valuable player award averaging high numbers. These events along with my family, have helped me build relationships with classmates, teammates and staff members from the school that had impacted and skyrocketed my personal growth.
In order to raise money, I have put my gofundme hat extending my hand to entities, relatives, friends, and organizations for me to develop a strategy to afford my college tuition. I have never had such strong courage to run a campaign or ask for something I have no control under. I have always believed on “do it yourself and experience it”.
