Compassionate. Beautiful. Full of life. Generous. Infectious energy. Supportive. Fun-loving. A wonderful light on this earth.
These are the words that family and friends have used to describe Adrienne Reneé Grisham. To put it simply: to know her was to love her.
In 2015, Reneé was diagnosed with a brain tumor and stage 4 non-small cell carcinoma lung cancer. Over the course of three years, she faced harsh treatments, paralysis, heart problems, and a host of other physical trials with the courage of a warrior. And despite these difficult times, there are countless stories of others receiving notes of encouragement, sympathy, or compassion from Reneé right when they needed it most.
Because that's who she was.
On Friday, January 11, 2019, Reneé left this world to rest in the arms of God. And while she leaves a hole that can never be replaced, she also leaves us with an opportunity to carry on her legacy of caring for others. Let's start with the treasure of her heart, her 10 year old son, Gregory.
In support of Reneé and Dan's dreams for Gregory, this fundraising campaign will go directly to Gregory's college fund. There is no better way to honor Reneé than to provide for his future.

When things have gone wrong, as they sometimes will do,
Or an obstacle suddenly pops into view,

I work as President & CEO of UNC Rockingham Health Care (Eden, NC) and am a sorority sister of Renee (Rho Psi Omega, Charlotte, NC)/Family Friend of the Grishams. With the approval of Daniel Grisham, this campaign was created to facilitate support for Gregory in memory of Renee.
