Colleen's cancer complications

Donation protected
** UPDATE : We are humbled and beyond grateful for everyone's generous donations. Jimmy and I have decided to increase the goal after yesterday's appointment with my moms Dr. You can read her update below! Thank you again! You are the best ,and I know my mom is going to be healed!

I'm  reaching out because I don't know what else to do. My brother and I have given all that we can, but am asking for anyone’s loving… helping hand.
My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, that metastasized to her lymphatic system. She had all of her lymph nodes removed, as her cancer had already spread to her lung, she is now stage 4. She now has uncontrollable swelling in her arm, chest, and upper body.

Everyone thinks that when chemo and radiation is over, (7 months of chemo, 33 and another 16 treatments of radiation) the person is cured. My mom has endured so many complications and I can’t believe she has remained as strong and positive as she is. Because she no longer has lymph nodes, her immune system is unable to get rid of infections that enter her body. Because of this, she has spent 72 days in the hospital during the last 15 months. As her cancer is so advanced, the oncologists had to use a very strong chemo. Due to the treatments she developed neuropathy in her feet and hands. She cannot feel her fingertips, and the pain in her feet is debilitating. It has progressively become worse over the last 3 months, she can now only be on her feet for a total of 2-3 hours a day and has to use a seated walker. Drs. have prescribed 11 different medications for neuropathy but they are not helping. She had 8 different surgeries to try and cure the neuropathy, including burning the nerves that go to her feet, but nothing has helped. As a last resort, her neurologist wants to put a nerve stimulator in her back. Hopefully this will block the pain signal from the brain to the spine and to the feet. Unfortunately, this is only partially covered under her insurance

She filed for disability last year, and was told it would be ANOTHER 60-90 days before she gets the approval letter in the mail (disability received 350 pages from her oncologist and neurologist!!)

My mom has worked so hard her entire life. Being a personal trainer, then owning a cleaning company, all while raising 2 children by herself. She is the first to help when anybody else needs it. She was the first to fly to Michigan for 3 weeks to help my grandfather when he was in the hospital.

My mother is a proud woman and will never ask for help!! She would really be mad at us if she knew we were reaching out for help. I’m not sure where to turn to for help at this point. I know it is Christmas time and everyone wants to save money to buy presents for their own family. Sitting on the counter at my mom’s house is an eviction notice, along with a statement stating electricity will be shut off. In January, she has to go through with the “nerve stimulator" surgery, and an additional surgery to remove fluid from her chest and arm.

I know God is in control and prayers are deeply appreciated. Our family and friends helped out during her chemo and radiation, but they are unable to help any longer and my mom feels like she is a burden to her family.

Thank you for all your prayers, love and support!

Update 11/12
My mom met with a natural path Dr and is finally giving her some hope. In order for her neuropathy to start to reverse, her lungs need to be able to provide oxygen to her feet and hands . Due to her restricted lung capacity, oxygen is going to her vital organs only. She needs to buy a 'low flow oxygen concentrator' ,  O2 tank , an 'ozone generator', and infrared foot therapy system. She will need this the rest of her life, none of which is covered by health insurance. She will also need IV oxygen therapy, and IV vitamin C.
Her regular oncologist told her that  she had about a year to live, and sent her on her way. Finding this new Dr. Is truly a gift from God and is finally giving her hope for the first time in 6 months
When I started this 'go fund me' , I was unaware that they took out 10%, that is why we decided to increase the goal.
