As most of you know, Colin has been making big moves towards moving back to Portland!
This week a pretty giant wrench was thrown in those plans when Colin lost his job of many years. While he is being offered unemployment for a minute, he lost his medical insurance and now has no way to pay for his monthly medical costs which total out around $1200 for his insulin and other medications for his diabetes. Between his medical bills, rent, utilities and other bills and also trying to move out of Olympia unemployment doesn't begin to touch his monthly costs.
Colin is and has always been a super active member of our community, and really deserves to feel supported and loved.

UPDATE 2/1/19: Thank you all so much for your donations so far! Your contributions means Colin will continue to have access to his insulin pens and other medications. Yesterday after sorting through used and unused pens, we realized Colin actually has two less pens than he had initially thought, so we have increased the campaign goal to reflect his ongoing need for these medications. If you remember this time last year when Colin was hospitalized in the ICU, you know how serious the need for these medications is.
Thank you so much again for making this a thing that is working. If anyone is deserving of this outpouring of community support, it's Colin.
