Coco Aiello RIP Vet Bills

Coco Chanel Bella was the most loving, cared for, and sweetest Cocker Spaniel and the light of my life. On October 11, 2018, she was rushed to the emergency veterinary hospital due to vomiting, shaking, and pain, which came on suddenly.
She was diagnosed with a ruptured gallbladder and underwent risky but emergency surgery to remove the gallbladder. In dogs, there are many things that can go wrong. Coco was in the hospital for almost a week and showed signs of improvement. We were even told she would be discharged to us after several days.
Sadly, this did not happen. On October 17th, Coco spiked a fever, her blood counts were off, and she underwent emergency exploratory surgery. A tear was found, attempted to be repaired, but she went septic by this point. All of the toxins were leaking into her organs, causing them to shut down.
I held my little girl as she passed from my arms. I am devastated and my family is devastated. Our family will never be the same, and I don't even have the words to explain how this has affected me. She was cremated and her remains will stay with me and my family forever.
All of this happened so suddenly. I do not have pet insurance for my dog, and I always kept up with her medical appointments, grooming, checkups, needs, and treated her like my daughter because she is my daughter. Dog lovers understand this bond.
I am asking for your help and because folks have written to me wanting to contribute towards Coco's $19,000 hospital bill.
The reason I don’t have the money is because I am a single girl living on Long Island where the real estate taxes are extremely high so I am trying to pay a mortgage, for a car and regular bills and a $300 train fare to work every month all on my own and I don’t have $19,000 in the bank to pay the vet bill.
Coco had a lot of medical issues throughout her little life and I was lucky I could keep up with those bills. I lived paycheck to paycheck in order to pay for her bills and my bills and nothing was ever saved so I don’t have $19,000 that I can take out of the bank in to pay it. I have Care Credit for part of it that still has to be paid off in 6 months so I don’t get charge interest and the amount to pay monthly to get it paid off in 6 months is just as large as my mortgage! I can’t pay that amount monthly. It’s too high.
If you can find it in your heart to contribute, I would be so grateful. Coco lived so happily and affected so many people. I just cannot believe she is gone. She will never be gone from my heart. I will always treasure the time we had together, knowing we will meet again.
