Coach Scott Memorial Fund

Phil Scott lived his life in service of others, especially student athletes.  He loved the Lord and lived and breathed Track and Field.  He spent over 40 years coaching and mentoring athletes both on and off the track.  He was known for his corny jokes, energetic spirit, numerous cheek pinches, and limitless knowledge about the sport.  

On November 23, Coach Scott joined Heaven and now rejoices with his Lord and Savior.  He leaves behind thousands of people whose lives were tremendously impacted by his generosity, selfless love, and incredible coaching.  Not only did he care about their successes on the track, he truly cared about their lives off the track.  He poured all his energy and countless hours into athletes around the country and, above all else, wanted them to know they were loved by the Lord (and him!).  

The Coach Scott Memorial Fund has been established to further his love of the sport of Track and Field.  It may help fund a scholarship for a budding athlete, buy some track shoes for a student in need, or go to meet a need of a school's athletic program.   Our goal is to continue his legacy for many years to come.
