Matt Williams is a determined fighter.
Many people struggle fighting cancer. Matt Williams won that battle 10 years ago. It was until recently he found out that the cancer had returned. Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma- ACC is a very rare form of cancer and will continue reoccurring with a few treatment options, and unfortunately there is no cure. Matt just had two tumors removed from his his lungs and he will begin his second round of radiation as he is determined to battle this and win!
Matt is a single father of three children. One of his kids is currently in college, and the other two are in high school. The return of cancer has taken a big toll on his children. The uncertainty of what may happen. Matt is determined to be victorious not for himself, but for his children.
Matt has a great deal of respect in his chosen field of work. He is an Engineering teacher at Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah for the past 3 years. He is part of the robotics program as well as a track coach for Davis High School where his expertise helped both programs continue to be successful year after year.
Matt has also taught at Box Elder Junior High School for 15 years where he also coached track and field at Box Elder High School as well.
Matt will always be such a great example when it comes down to facing challenges not only for his kids, but his students and athletes. Matt is a fighter and he always will be. Please help Matt continue to conquer this battle.
His medical bills are piling up as well as has a very long commute to get treatment. He is also in need of a new roof for his house. You have the opportunity to make a real difference.
