Coach Bryan Winzenread

Let’s help Coach Bryan kick cancer.  Recently Bryan Winzenread was given the unfortunate news that he has Oropharyngeal Cancer. Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is the recommended center for treatment of this type of cancer, which requires many straight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy treatments. Another blow is the fact that Cedars-Sinai has no on site lodging facilities for families dealing with these devastating circumstances, therefore he has to secure housing nearby in the Southern California area. The family is not known to ask for help, but many of us are wondering “How can we help?”

The unexpected expense of lodging is adding stress for Bryan and his family beyond just dealing with the diagnosis. So, we are reaching out to anyone that is wanting to help and assist with lodging expenses during his treatment. If there is a remaining balance it will be paid forward to another Bishop family with out of town medical needs.

As many of you know Bryan is very involved with his community supporting many youth organizations and clubs through coaching our children and volunteering. We are starting this fund raiser to show the Winzenread family how much they mean to their friends and the community of Bishop, California.  This account will  have his wife Rory Winzenread designated as the beneficiary so the funds can go directly to them for the expenses during Bryan’s treatments.
