CMWC trip to INVICTUS

The first Canadian Military Wives Choir was set up in Stittsville, ON in September 2013 as a way of bringing women in the military community together, through song and friendship. 

The ultimate goal is for military wives, and active female military members  posted to a military base anywhere in Canada ,  to have choir sisters waiting to welcome them. There are 10 choirs up and running across Canada.

In the past 3.5 years the CMWC Ottawa has built up an impressive list of performances, both locally and nationally. 

The Ottawa choir, along with military wives choirs from across Canada,  has been given the opportunity and  honour of performing for our our military heroes at the International INVICTUS games.

These games are the vision of HRH Prince Harry, and began in the U.K. 3 years ago. This year the games are in Toronto Canada, on September 23rd.The aim of the games is to commemorate and honour ill, wounded and injured soldiers, and their families through sport and competition.

Financial support means that no choir member will be excluded from attending this once in a lifetime event.
Your generous donation will offset the  cost of transport, accommodation and meals for 50 choir members for 4 days.

This is a unique and humbling opportunity for us to attend and support those that have given so much.
