Curtis Everitt is the Founder and President of Saint Studios Films, LLC. He has been making movies since 2004. Since 2007, he has directed over 30 feature-length films. Most of these films were made on shoe string budgets, with "Five Crowns" having the largest budget because Everitt matched funds with the MFVA film grant and was able to pay his actors.
After the successful production of "Ripple", star Leslie Stewart wanted to team up for another production. The idea for "Queen Dracula" was born out of the ambition to do another horror film, this time of the vampire genre. It will go into production in July of 2017.
The story of "Queen Dracula" is that of the Harker family. Mina and Lucy are still trying to come to terms with the death of their mother Miranda while Jonathan Harker tries to be the father they need. He is sent a mysterious postcard and beckoned to go out and visit an old friend in a rural town. Upon Jonathan's arrival, he learns that it's really Queen Dracula who summoned him there, and she won't stop until she has him under her spell.
Saint Studios Films, LLC, likes to work at a fast but efficient pace. The last few productions that have been made by this company have been done so in short periods of time.
"The Hook" is a feature film composed of two segments, "Down the Rabbit Hole" and "Second to the Right". "Down the Rabbit Hole" was shot in 1 day and "Second to the Right" was shot in 4. The thriller "And Then There Was Blood" was shot over a 4 day shoot. The most recent feature production was a black and white film about depression entitled "Future King"--it was shot across 4 days. "Ripple" was shot across 4 days in April 2017.
"Queen Dracula" is intended to be released in March of 2018. There will be a trailer shown for it at the October premiere of "Ripple" at Malco Grandview in Madison, MS.
Saint Studios Films, LLC, would like to have a premiere at Malco Grandview in Madison, MS, for this feature film for its March 2018 release. This costs $500 to do, so all the support that can be lent would be greatly appreciated. Most of the money within the budget is going to pay the cast and crew.
