Closer to Free Bike Ride

 My family loves birthdays and yesterday was time to celebrate mine! I am so grateful to be living and thriving right now. But every week still entails trips to Smilow and treatments, never ending tests, and pain. My birthday wish is to raise money to help the hospital which has taken such good care of me.

21 Years!

For 21 years, I have been fighting and BEATING Stg.4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. During this time, I have participated in many activities to raise awareness and money for breast cancer, including walking 100 miles and running a 26.2-mile marathon. This year it's all about living with Stg. 4 cancer and Smilow Hospital.

On September 7, 2019, I'll be participating in Smilow Cancer Hospital's Closer to Free Bicycle Ride to benefit research and programs there. For the first time, I'll be raising money for the facility that benefits me directly!

My dream was to complete the 65 mile course, but some challenges with my heart over the past couple of months has limited training time. I WILL BE completing the 10 mile course this year, with high hopes of 65 miles, next year! I would really love the support in the form of a donation for my ride.
