All of Clayvon's life he has known he wanted to go to college and major in Mathematics. Being a child who attended public schools he has experienced the lack of education in poor communities. His goal is to become a math teacher in low income high schools and and start his own non-profit organization for at risk children.
Clayvon has been accepted at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He was selected because of his dedication to the scientific, technological, engineering and math professions, and his leadership potential, along with his academic excellence of a 3.7 GPA.
He currently tutors low-income, at risk elementary students and truly has a passion for education.
