Clayton Brack

Hello everyone, Uncle Shane here.  If you haven't heard what has happened with my sweet sister and her family, I need you to take a moment and read their story, as we are in need of help.  Their son, Robert Clayton (we call him Clay-Clay), has had a rough go of it.  Clay was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes two years ago this month,  with many hard times and hard fought battles, the entire family took this head on with grace and strength the likes of which I have never witnessed.  Clay has done very, very well educating himself and all around him on how to manage his Type 1.  Now, as if this were not enough,  Clay has been diagnosed with CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth) Disease.  This is a progressive disease of the peripheral nerves, which causes loss of function to the lower legs and arms.  There is no cure for this disease at this time.  In order to manage this condition, he will have to travel out of state for each of his specialist appointments.  This is going to require a lot of money folks!!!  We need you help in raising this money to get Clay the proper medical care. 
     This disease is especially devastating because Clay is a very active young man who absolutely loves sports of all kinds.  Football, baseball, basketball, fishinig, kayaking, etc....  He is a VERY intelligent boy who is very active in church along with school and sports.  This is going to be a lifelong fight for Clay and his family; the money that is raised will go towards travel expenses to the specialists (there will be many) and any medical overflow that is not covered by their insurance.  If you would like to know more about Clay's disease and the fight that he is facing, simply Google "CMT Disease" and read about it.
