Welcome to the Montessori School of New Orleans classroom materials fundraising page!
As many of you know, Montessori School of New Orleans, founded by American Montessori Society (AMS) credentialed educators is scheduled to have its first academic semester beginning in Fall 2019.
This innovative middle school will enroll sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students in a mixed, multi-age classroom setting.
While Montessori School of New Orleans has no religious affiliations or influence, it will lease a space from the Canal Street Church: A Mosaic Community. Students will have access to a beautiful, safe, and peaceful campus, including an indoor gym.
Montessori School of New Orleans has received a $20,000 grant from the Rhunstone Foundation.
The school is now seeking to raise funds for essential Montessori classroom materials, such as: shelf-work, furniture, computers, and general classroom supplies. All funds raised from this campaign will go to purchasing these and other classroom materials.
If you would prefer that your donation is used to purchase a specific item, please indicate so in the comment section of your donation. All donors will be added to the school's "Founders Plaque" to be displayed in the learning environment.
For donations of $450 or more, the school will personalize a small plaque to commemorate your donation on or near the respective item(s) purchased.
