Classic Truck Rescue

Donation protected
We rented part of a farm to start our own business, Classic Truck Rescue.  Our business involves finding Classic Trucks and dragging them out of the bushes, fields and barns. The trucks that can be saved find new homes. Some we restore. The parts from the ones that are too far gone to save help other people get their old truck back on the road.
After sinking two years and a lot of money into fixing up the farm and setting up our business, the chicken farmer who was renting the back part of the farm took over our lease behind our backs and gave us 90-days to move everything we owned off the property.  We received the news in November of 2015, during one of the coldest, wettest Winters on record in Oregon. We were fortunate to find some beautiful property close by that was owned by a very kind man who offered to let us move all of our trucks and belongings out there and let us make payments towards buying the property. It was raw land that had never been lived on and was overgrown with bushes and weeds....but it was beautiful.
There were no roads, so we built our own using our antique dump truck (which my girl Jamie had to learn to drive) and antique tractor. We also used our antique tow truck to haul the trucks to the new property. We had to build the roads as we moved the trucks out to the property just to get them out there without getting the tow truck stuck. We bought metal storage containers to put all of my shop equipment and all of our household belongings in. We had no choice but to move into a local motel as we were moving. We continued to live there while we renovated an old trailer.  After the trailer was restored, we had to power it with a generator for a year while we again used our antique equipment to install our own dedicated electric service.
We have done everything we can at this point.  We have over 30,000 viewers on the Classic Truck Rescue YouTube Channel and all of our viewers have seen us do all the things I just described to you. You can see the work we've done by watching The CTR-Series of videos in numerical order on our channel. We have purchased a kit for a pole barn and hauled the complete building kit to the property ourselves. I have been working out of a wedding tent and just really need a warm dry place to work and keep my tools before Winter comes again.
It is our goal and dream to build the "Classic Truck Ranch". Our mission is to save neat old trucks and give them new lives. It is also our mission to have a place where people who share our passion for historic American trucks (and cars) can gather to enjoy them and pass knowledge on to younger generations. Our viewers always say..."I wish I could come help...but I'm so far away."  People have often told me to start a campaign for help. I just thought we could do it ourselves. I still do, but we have been struggling for 3-years now and I just really want to see this dream come true before we're too old to enjoy it. We believe in God and we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Sometimes that causes us to receive mean comments, but it shouldn't because we try to treat everyone the same. Our videos aren't sermons, we just believe in giving thanks to the God we love when we are inspired to do so. The amount of help we are asking for would enable us to rescue a very large old Ladder Truck we bought a long time ago but cannot afford to haul home to Oregon from California and get our shop up before Winter sets in again.    Thank you.
