Hello Everyone,


It's Clark Anderson! As most of you know, I'm a singer/songwriter/producer. I've been on hiatus from the music business for 12 years now. A long time to be away from my passion. I fell upon some hard times during those twelve years. I was even homeless for a while.


I stopped singing. I stopped writing and producing music.I was at an all-time low.  So much so, that I didn't even know how, or who to ask for help.


That was then. This is now.


A couple months ago I moved from Wilmington, North Carolina to Brooklyn, New York. I was approved to live in a housing community that's very inexpensive. I've been so lucky and so happy to be here, that I've decided to take advantage of this city of opportunity, and write and/or produce for other major recording artists again.


I've written 3 songs in the past 2 months (first in 12 years). I don't have any instruments where I live. No computer. Just good old fashion finger tapping for the beat, and the music and lyrics in my head. However, I was able to save 200.00 dollars which bought me 4 hours in a really nice recording studio to record one of these songs. Not enough time to finish (the demo). There are no cool effects and sounds, no live guitars, and it hasn't been mixed at all. But I think it's a great example of what I can do with a limited budget.


The song that is attached is the one I just recorded. It was written with the idea of an artist like Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, or Justin Timberlake. But it could be anybody at this point. Please let me know what you think about it. I love input.


In conclusion, I have started this GOFUND ME account because I would like to finish this song, plus 2 or maybe even 3 others. When I get in touch with all my old contacts, I'll finally have something they may be interested in. I also may be able to get a publishing deal, if I get the privilege of going that route. At the end of the day, all the doors start opening in the music biz if I have what they think is talent, and a hit song. If you can help with a donation of any amount towards my recording studio fund, I would be more then so grateful to you all. I would pay for it all myself if I could, but then I would be in my late 60's by time that happened so.......... I look forward to making you all proud again.
