Cj Ross Road to Recovery
Cj is a 13 year old new brockton high school student with 3 brother's and 2 step brothers. Feb. 20th cj knee started hurting. 2/21/2017 He went to Dr. They said probably a sprain. 2/22/2017 He went bk again said not to worry. 2/26/2017 He was taken to dothan emergency room he had a fever of 104.00 was dehydrated and his knee swollen. Dothan ran test and found bacterial infection he had his 1st surgery 2/27/2017 On his left knee, left shoulder, right elbow, and right hand cause the infection spread. He had drainage tubes coming from every incision. 2/28/2017 cj showed improvement but still had mild fever. 3/01/2017 Cj' s infection took an unexpected turn and he was flown by jet to Birmingham children's of Alabama hospital, nobody was allowed to fly with him. Cj got to birmingham was stable his mother, father, 2 grandmothers, grandfather, step mom, and aunt and several more showed up to support cj but unfortunately only 2 people can stay over night with cj which caused a lot of financial stress between the 3 hour drive there, food, motel, plus in an emergency like this people don't think they go and his mother is having to miss work and his father is disabled plus he has 4 younger brothers and 1 older brother. They are looking at a minimum of 4 months in birmingham. Plus medical expense, boarding expense, transportation expense, clothing, and food. 3/2/2017 Cj had another surgery on his left knee, right, knee, left hip, left shoulder, right elbow, right hand. And the have found 2 bacterial infections in the blood 1. Mercer 2. Peptoconjunctacoctal. And the Mercer infection has spread to the bones. Cj had a 3rd surgery on 3/4/2017 on his left knee,left hip, left shoulder, right elbow, and right hand. We are asking for any help possible for cj' s expenses and his mom and dad's expenses! And to help out with his brother's needs as well. Such as groceries and necessities.
