Save Medical Marijuana in Lansing
CITY PULSE needs YOUR help with our mission to save Lansing's medical marijuana businesses!
Campaign runs through: April 30, 2017
Hi,
This is Berl Schwartz, the editor & publisher of City Pulse , Lansing’s alternative newsweekly.
The Lansing City Council is considering an ordinance that will all but kill the medical marijuana business in the city through the misuse of highly restrictive zoning. This is BAD for entrepreneurial dispensary owners, BAD for the Lansing economy and, most of all, BAD for medical marijuana patients, who will no longer have easy access to medications.
City Pulse is putting its resources behind fighting this discriminatory ordinance by publishing a special issue on April 19. We are employing Michigan State University to conduct a study on the positive impact of dispensaries on our city’s economy. And we will provide an in-depth look at what marijuana, both medical and recreational, could mean for our economy if our City Council embraced it rather than reefer madness.
This will cost City Pulse a lot of money. We need your help to offset our expenses, which we cannot cover through our only source of revenue, advertising.
If you think as I do that the Council is wrongheaded about medical marijuana, then please donate whatever you can to this GoFundMe campaign, which lasts till April 30. Whatever you can do will be appreciated.
Thank you.
