Lilly Lynn

Two years ago, on March 16th, 2016, Jen and Kyle Taylor welcomed their beautiful daughter, Lilly Lynn into the world. Since the day she learned she was pregnant with Lilly, my sister has been nothing short of Super-Mom. Born with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy called Walker Warburg Syndrome, her mom and dad worked hard to give Lilly every opportunity possible to keep her strong, happy, and well for as long as she was here. Lilly benefitted from equestrian therapy, which she began at 3 months old, which helped her core strength and motor skills tremendously, swim lessons early on, and loving physical therapists that kept her strong from the start. From day one, her parents made sure she had everything she needed to live her best life.

Though my sweet niece was a warrior, she lost her battle on Thursday, May 24th. Though she was only with us two short years, Lilly brought so much to our lives. She fought for every smile and every laugh, and we cherished every moment with her. Each day was truly a miracle. Our family cannot express how much we appreciate each and every one of you for your love and support since Lilly’s passing. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Jen and Kyle feel your tremendous love and support, even from afar.
During these past weeks while Lilly was in the hospital and home on hospice, Kyle has been off of work and has used all of his paid time off. With not only funeral expenses, but rent as well, any donations will help Jen and Kyle during this incredibly difficult time – simply allowing them to grieve this loss without the financial worry that it has brought.
