Churchill Community High School Track and Field

Churchill Community High School in La Ronge, Saskatchewan is beginning a fundraising campaign for the construction of a rubberized 400m track surface, crowned in-field for soccer and football, and adjacent fields to be used for other field sports. The funds raised for this project will be used for the construction and regeneration of the lower field at CCHS; from the fill material, grading, drainage systems, track base and finished surface, soil and sod for the field areas and labour. We are looking to break ground on this project in the Spring of 2019 where we want to have Phase 1 and 2 completed by the Fall of 2019. If the funds are raised by the Spring of 2020, we would likely start Phase 3 and 4.

Our overall goal to fund this project will be $1 000 000; however we are hoping that the go fund me campaign can help up achieve 1/4 of the goal!

We hope that by having the field upgraded at CCHS and a rubberized track installed, the following would benefit:
- Tri-Community Members - track surface to walk and run on
- Students at CCHS, PCCS, GDCS, SMVS, BPCS will have the ability to use the track for track and field events
- High School Football, Soccer, Minor Football, Minor Soccer and other field sports will have a safe, well maintained playing surface.
- A greater area for CCHS outdoor Phys. Ed programming.

Phase 1 - Site Preparation and Grading
Phase 2 - Soil and Sod
Phase 3 - Track to Asphalt
Phase 4 - Rubberized Track Surface and Final Landscaping
