We are Chula Vista Deputy Mayor Mike Diaz and Councilmember Jill Galvez.
We have been appointed by the City Council to put on Chula Vista’s incomparable Starlight Parade & Children’s Faire this year. Like everything else, costs for this beloved holiday tradition have increased every year...and this year our budget is more than $100,000!
Although we are fortunate to have corporate sponsors to help cover the lion’s share of costs for this event, we don't think we will be able to achieve our goal this year without some help from the community. No donation is too small, and 100% of all funds raised will go directly to meet parade expenses.
We are humbled by and grateful for your help. This free family event is a highlight of the holiday season for many and we could not do it without your generosity. Donating, or sharing our link to your social media accounts and your Facebook Timeline, would mean so much.
