Our nephew Dylan Thomas' Meds

Dylan Thomas, a senior at North Kingstown High School, who has been battling chronic Neurological Lyme disease for 3 years, is undergoing his 6th round of antibiotics. His medication and injections are very costly and require a visiting nurse, neither which are 
covered by the family’s health care insurance, nor have many of his prior treatments. Dylan was an active and healthy teenager and athlete until he contracted Lyme disease at 14 years old. He went undiagnosed and misdiagnosed for over 1.5 years, causing this debilitating illness to invade his body, brain cells and spinal fluid, leaving him in tremendous pain and malaise.  Lyme disease has kept Dylan homebound and out of school for his junior and senior years of high school and he is unable to graduate with his class in June 2017. He is not able to drive, play varsity basketball or work as he had dreams of doing while preparing for college. He plans to return to school next year to finish his senior year and graduate with his sister, Brandee. Dylan always keeps his hopes up despite the many medications and treatments he has endured. He and his parents, Cheryl De Cotis-Thomas and Aaron Thomas, feel optimistic that this current round of treatment will enable him to go on to be a normal, healthy and energetic teenager again!  Your help will greatly be appreciated...
