Christopher Testerman Medical Expenses

Donation protected
On Wednesday, June 19, 2019, our son and youngest twin, Chris Testerman, suffered a significant heart attack which resulted the placement of a stent in one artery which was 95% occluded. Several other arteries are between 10 and 30% occluded and the doctors are trying to clear those occlusions chemically. The heart attack has resulted in the loss of approximately 1/3 of his heart's pumping capacity. His heart is currently pumping between 10 and 25% of capacity. He does not have health insurance (it's a long and evil story). The current bill is about $100K. His medications, which are essential to keep him alive, are about $2,000/mo. He is currently at home with my wife and I because of the generosity of unknown benefactors who paid for a heart vest which will automatically restart his heart if it suddenly stops.

Joanne and I are retired and live on a fixed income. We are doing what we can, but this situation is far from anything we have the financial capacity to handle. Chris has been working but has not yet achieved full-time status (he was scheduled to go full-time this week) which would provide him with health insurance benefits. We are asking for the help of friends, family, and anyone else who is willing to graciously contribute to keeping our son alive while we work toward getting Chris enrolled in "Access" which is Arizona's version of Medicaid.
