Christmas Fundraiser -Street Kitchen

Donation protected
Ok so most of you know that myself and my husband James do a Christmas collection asking for monetary donations in the run up to Christmas to help the homeless people in Leeds.
This time has come again people..........

This is our 3rd year myself and James are doing this collection, and hopefully with your help it's as successful as previous years.
As usual were asking for people to give a donation, no matter how small £2, £5, £10, anything is fantastic!
We will run this up until the week before Christmas, then James and myself will go and do a Christmas food shop for the homeless people in Leeds. We have done this for the past 2 years for the Crypt in Leeds who were so grateful for the food. This year we are doing this for a fantastic team called 'Real Change - Leeds Street Kitchen' who myself and James had the pleasure of meeting and seeing what they do.
The team serve hot meals every Sunday evening to the homeless in Leeds. The kitchen is set up in City Square, where people can get hot meals, drinks, toiletries, etc The people who run this are all unpaid volunteers!! Everything they distribute, foodstuff, clothing, toiletries are all donations that go straight to the people who need this. The homeless. They do not charge for meals everything they give out is FREE for people who need genuine help.

For those of you who don't know about this, basically what started off in Christmas 2013, as a small donation page that myself and James put on Facebook, to raise money to buy food for the homeless, well the money raised simply exceeded mine and James's expectations, with the first Christmas total hitting over £350!! and then again in Christmas 2015, you guys smashed a whopping Christmas total of £500+ as you can imagine the food we managed to buy with this amount of money was just fantastic!!! Were praying we can hit £500 again this year to help so many less fortunate. Please please help us do this!!!

£2 can buy tea bags! It's not much!I know Christmas is a busy time for you all, and everyone is rushing round buying presents, and Christmas food, please help make a difference to people who don't have these luxuries.

Homeless people aren't all drug addicts, their not all alcoholics, or crooks. Myself and James have met these people over the past 3 years and talked to them. Every story so different, but all so sad. No one should be cold, hungry and homeless in this day and age. It's just wrong

Please make someone smile this Christmas. Please make a donation. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts.
